We are proud members of the International Thespian Society (troupe #3393). We meet every other Tuesday in FA 106 at lunch.
2009-2010 Officers

Vice President: Rachel May
Secretary: Tori Ham
Treasurer: Patrick Goldman
Historian: Stacey Croll

Do I need to be an actor or techie to join? NO! All are welcome to our meetings.
What can I expect? Meetings are usually brief and are held during lunch.
What do we do as a Drama Club? We see plays in San Francisco and at other high schools, get information about our season at Cal High (auditions, etc), help promote current productions, promote improv shows, welcome new students to the school, share our love of theatre, fundraise, have get togethers and see movies like "Fame!"
Do I need to come to every meeting? It's best for you to attend as many meetings as possible so you don't miss deadlines for when to turn in money to see a show in San Francisco, information about movie outings or caroling night.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the International Thespian Society (see below), you must be an active member of Drama Club. Meaning: you must show up as often as you can!
Are we going on a trip this year? We are not traveling as a Drama club this year.
Where has the Drama Club traveled in the past? We've traveled to New York City and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. We're heading back to Oregon in March 2011.
Can I fundraise? Yes! That's why you need to come to Drama Club. Ms. Woods will share vital information regarding fundraising for the trips at meetings.
Do I have to be in a Theatre Arts class in order to go on the trip? No!
Is there a Drama Club Banquet? Of course! Each May we celebrate our successes with a banquet. We hand out acting and tech awards, announce the next group of officers, view pictures of past productions, eat good food and dance!
As members of the International Thespian Society, our students are recognized for their exceptional work during the school year. They receive a yearly subscription to Dramatics magazine and are celebrated at the end of each year. Students must be active members of our Drama Club in order to be considered.
If you've already been inducted, please keep track of your points and hand in each May.
For more information, see Ms. Woods for an application.
